WATCH: CR7 becomes a supplier! In his own half, Cristiano Ronaldo provides a lovely assist to put Al-Nassr ahead of Al-Taawoun.

In the Saudi Pro League on Friday, Cristiano Ronaldo led his team Al-Nassr to victory over Al-Taawoun, continuing his impressive run of form in the kingdom.

Ronaldo, who has so far scored five goals, contributed two assists to Al Nassr's crucial 2-1 victory over Al Taawoun.

After connecting with Abdulrahman Ghareeb in the first half with a pass that split the defense, Ronaldo was named the game's MVP. slotted it home, courtesy of a clinical finish.

Alvaro Medran's goal for Al Taawoun brought them even at the start of the second half.

But as the game came to a close, Ronaldo once more provided an assist, and Abdullah Madu scored the game-winning goal to give Al Nassr all three points.

The Portuguese scored in his team's 2-2 draw against Al Fateh on the road.

After that, Al Nassr's star forward came under fire after the team's loss to Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup semifinal.

Before the Al Fateh match, since his arrival at Al Nassr, Ronaldo had scored only twice, that too for Saudi All Star against Paris Saint Germain in an exhibition game, a game that PSG won 4-5.

After Manchester United terminated his contract in November of last year due to an explosive TV incident, Ronaldo was a free agent.
